Trump Bought Stock in an ICE Weapons Supplier to Profit From the Cruelty ICE Is Creating
Federal disclosures show Trump bought up to $5 million in Axon shares before ICE sought a $220 million Taser expansion for the deportation force targeting immigrants.
Trump is profiting from the cruelty he created. Federal disclosures show he bought up to $5 million in Axon stock before ICE sought a $220 million Taser expansion for the deportation force carrying out his anti-immigrant agenda. He created the target. ICE carries out the terror. Axon supplies the weapons. Trump’s money trail runs through the company tied to the weapons his regime wants more of.
A sitting president created the cruelty, then put his money inside the weapons pipeline used to enforce it.
Trump spent years turning immigrants into a public enemy. Families became threats. Workers became suspects. Asylum seekers became invaders. Neighborhoods became places for federal agents to hunt. Then ICE moved to expand the weapons available to the force carrying that lie into homes, streets, jobs, courthouses, detention centers, and deportation operations.
ICE is not seeking thousands of Tasers for paperwork. It is seeking them for force.
The notice sought about 17,800 new Tasers, unlimited cartridges, and training over five years. CNBC reported that the notice did not name Axon, but procurement reviewers and policing experts said the specifications appeared to match Axon products. The notice also referenced replacing older Axon Tasers with equipment tied to the newer Taser 10 system.
Axon is not incidental here. Axon makes Tasers. ICE already uses Axon weapons. The point is not subtle: ICE moved toward expanding weapons tied to Axon, while Trump’s own disclosure showed he had bought stock in Axon before that notice appeared.
That means the people Trump demonized are not just being used for politics. They are being turned into the justification for weapons spending — and Trump’s own disclosure puts him in position to profit from the company tied to those weapons.
A Taser is not a symbol. It is a weapon used to control a body through pain, fear, and force. In ICE’s hands, that means another tool available during raids, arrests, detention transfers, removals, and confrontations with people already trapped inside Trump’s deportation machine.
That is the abomination.
A president should not be able to create a target class, expand federal force against that class, and appear in the money trail around the weapons used to enforce that harm. This is not only a threat to immigrants. It is a threat to the American people.
If this pattern stands, it can spread. Protesters can become targets. Workers can become targets. Cities can become targets. Political opponents can become targets. The public can become the target.
The record is disgusting because it is simple: Trump created the target, ICE expands the force, Axon supplies the weapons, and Trump’s own disclosure places his money near the company tied to those weapons. The victims are immigrants first. The warning belongs to the whole country.
ICE cruelty is not just policy. It is raids, detention, weapons, contracts, and profit built around the people Trump’s regime targets.
Americans Against ICE documents the machinery behind that harm and keeps the public record open.
