Americans Against ICE
Americans Against ICE is a reader-supported accountability project confronting the harm caused by ICE detention and enforcement.
We reject the framing of detention as “policy” or “process” when it results in prolonged confinement, family separation, and irreversible harm.
What We Do
We center the voices of people and families impacted by ICE and make visible the harm institutions attempt to obscure.
Our work includes:
Documenting detention and enforcement abuses
Supporting impacted people and families
Funding legal aid, vigils, and public accountability efforts
Preserving records so harm cannot be erased or rewritten
Why This Exists
Cruelty has been normalized through bureaucracy — and silence protects it.
No government should cage people, especially children, in the name of enforcement. When harm is hidden behind procedure, accountability becomes urgent, not optional.
This publication exists to refuse that normalization.
How You Can Support
