Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing, reading, subscribing to, commenting on, supporting, or otherwise using Americans Against ICE, you agree to these Terms of Use.

These Terms apply to the Americans Against ICE website, emails, newsletters, articles, Notes, comments, chats, custom pages, subscription features, public-record documentation, and other publication services.

Americans Against ICE is published through Substack. Your use of Substack’s platform is also subject to Substack’s separate terms, policies, and rules.

Publication Purpose

Americans Against ICE publishes independent reporting, public-record documentation, accountability journalism, commentary, and information focused on:

Americans Against ICE operates within the RESIST | FIGHT public-interest journalism ecosystem.

Informational and Editorial Content

Content is provided for journalism, commentary, education, public-interest documentation, and general informational purposes.

It is not a substitute for individualized:

Accuracy and Developing Information

Americans Against ICE works to verify material facts and correct substantive errors.

Some reporting concerns breaking events, pending litigation, disputed claims, incomplete records, federal statements, rapidly changing policies, or ongoing enforcement activity.

Information may therefore be updated, clarified, corrected, or supplemented as new verified evidence becomes available.

No Guarantee of Outcomes

Nothing published by Americans Against ICE guarantees:

  • a legal result

  • immigration relief

  • release from detention

  • policy change

  • financial assistance

  • media coverage

  • publication of submitted material

  • a response to every message

  • acceptance of a correction request

  • a particular government or court action

Reporting and public-interest documentation do not create an attorney-client, professional, or advisory relationship.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free and paid subscriptions may be administered through Substack and its payment providers.

Subscription prices, benefits, billing periods, renewal terms, discounts, and cancellation options are displayed during signup or through the subscriber’s account settings.

Payment does not purchase:

  • favorable coverage

  • editorial access

  • removal of accurate reporting

  • influence over reporting decisions

  • guaranteed publication

  • preferential treatment

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original articles, commentary, page text, editorial frameworks, graphics, branding, and other publication material are owned by or licensed to Americans Against ICE or RESIST | FIGHT.

You may:

  • link to public pages

  • quote limited portions for commentary, criticism, reporting, education, or other lawful fair-use purposes

  • share official publication links

  • use material where written permission has been granted

You may not:

  • republish full articles without permission

  • reproduce substantial portions in a competing publication

  • remove attribution

  • sell or license publication content without authorization

  • impersonate Americans Against ICE or RESIST | FIGHT

  • falsely suggest endorsement, partnership, or authorization

Requests for republication or licensing should be sent through the publication’s official contact channel.

Reader Submissions

By sending a message, news tip, correction request, document, photograph, video, comment, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to submit it.

Submitting material does not guarantee publication, investigation, payment, confidentiality, or return of the material.

You retain ownership of material you lawfully own. Publicly submitted material may be displayed, moderated, preserved, or used as necessary to operate publication features.

Do not submit material that:

  • violates another person’s rights

  • unlawfully exposes private information

  • contains malicious software

  • is knowingly false or fraudulent

  • infringes copyright

  • threatens violence

  • promotes harassment

News Tips and Confidentiality

Requests for confidentiality are considered before publication.

No ordinary email, website, messaging system, or digital service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Do not send medical records, financial information, government identification, home addresses, immigration documents, or other highly sensitive material unless secure arrangements have been made first.

Americans Against ICE does not promise confidential-source status unless that arrangement has been expressly accepted.

Community Conduct

Readers participating in comments, chats, replies, or other community areas must not:

  • threaten violence

  • harass or stalk others

  • publish private identifying information

  • impersonate another person

  • post spam or scams

  • distribute malware

  • interfere with the website or platform

  • coordinate targeted abuse

  • encourage unlawful retaliation

  • violate Substack’s rules

Americans Against ICE may moderate, hide, restrict, block, or remove participation when reasonably necessary to protect readers, sources, affected communities, or the integrity of the publication.

External Links

The publication may link to third-party websites, documents, court records, government records, campaigns, databases, or services.

External links are provided for reference or convenience.

Americans Against ICE does not control and is not responsible for third-party:

Americans Against ICE may use records, statements, court filings, agency documents, public databases, and other materials produced by government institutions.

Use of those materials does not constitute endorsement of the institution, its conduct, or its account of events.

Official statements are treated as claims requiring context and verification where appropriate.

Immigration and Enforcement Information

Coverage of immigration enforcement may include rapidly changing legal, administrative, and operational information.

Readers should not rely on a publication article as individualized legal guidance concerning detention, removal, asylum, immigration status, court deadlines, or interactions with law enforcement.

Prohibited Use

You may not use Americans Against ICE to:

  • violate law

  • threaten, exploit, or harass others

  • conduct fraud

  • distribute malicious code

  • scrape protected data unlawfully

  • interfere with website operation

  • falsely attribute content

  • misrepresent affiliation

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the publication and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.

Americans Against ICE does not guarantee that:

  • the website will always be uninterrupted

  • every error will be detected immediately

  • every external link will remain active

  • all archived information will remain available

  • the service will be free from technical failure or third-party interference

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Americans Against ICE, RESIST | FIGHT, and their operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive losses arising solely from reliance on general informational content, interruption of service, third-party conduct, external websites, or unauthorized access beyond their reasonable control.

This provision does not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or costs resulting from your unlawful use of the publication, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or material you submit without authorization.

Corrections

Suspension or Termination

Americans Against ICE may restrict access to community features, remove comments, block accounts, or discontinue services where reasonably necessary because of:

  • abuse

  • threats

  • fraud

  • unlawful conduct

  • policy violations

  • security risks

  • platform enforcement

  • operational necessity

Substack may separately suspend or terminate accounts under its own agreements.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when the publication, its services, technology, platform arrangements, or legal obligations change.

The “Last updated” date will be revised when material changes are made.

Severability

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
